1. First of all insert window xp original Cd and Restart your PC.
2. Before windows starting, computer show you a command that's "Press any key to boot from CD......"
3. Press any key to boot your windows xp CD.
4. Now your computer is loading file of your windows xp CD.
5. at this stage computer says to you that's press F6 If you want to install third party RAID or SCSI drivers. If you are using an IDE hard drive than you don't need to press F6. But If you are using SCSI or SATA harad drive so It must be for you that's press F6 otherwise window will not detect your hard drive during installation (that means your installation has been failed). and make sure that's you have the Raid drivers on you floppy drive. Generally computer doesn't want floppy drive. But in SCSI or SATA hard drives it's most important.
6. Press S to define that's you want to use additional drives.
7. Now you will see windows XP professional look and computer ask to you that's what are you want to do such as, Install, repair or quit your windows xp setup. Just enter because you want to install windows xp professional edition on your computer.
8. And now you see a new screen That's windows licence, Press F8 for continue.
9. After this, The main part is gonna to be started, In case your hard drive size is 40Gb. You can create only one partition of 40 Gb by just pressing enter. But If you want to create many more partitions of your hard drive so first delete all partitions by selecting any partition and pressing D button of you keyboard (If partition is already made). After this, select the ""Unpartitioned space"" command. Select this and press ""C"" button of your keyboard for creating Partition. You see a new screen that's here you are able to set up your partition size In case you are using 40Gb of hard drive and you want to create only one partiion on your hard drive so type the value that 4000(MB). And If you want to create two or more partitions so type 2000 or whatever you want (doesn't matter).
10. After creating partitions, select First partition (Drive C:) and press Enter for processing.
11. Choose NTFS formatting option it is recommended, If your hard drive already formatted so select NTFS quick format. NTFS have many benefits such as, secure your hard drive for many problems and support larger size drive, and biggest files etc.
12. Now your drive C: of your hard drive is gonna to be formatted (only drive C:)
13. After formatting your Drive C: gonnat to be copying files from windows xp professional CD.
14. Now the first step of your setup has been completed.
15. Leave your CD on you CD ROM because second part left.
16. Restart your computer.
17. Now you see again the command that's "" press any key to boot from CD"" but now you don't need to press any key.
18. Computer display a new windows but it is just a processing windows for processing your setup.
19. After few minutes, You see a Region and language dialog box.
20. select your region and language (United states language is recommended because it's computer language).
21. You see a dialog box again that's here you type your name and your organization name (it's not that important but then name is important)
22. Enter Product key whose placed on your CD's cover (QW4HD-DQCRG-HM64M-6GJRK-8K83T)
23. Now type your computer name It's up to you that what's your decided name for your Computer. and set administrator password below If you want (You can set any word or letter just remember it!!)
24. Enter correct date and choose your time zone.
25. You see the network setting dialog box.
26. Choose typical and press next
27. Choose workgroup or domain name. If you are not a member of any domain so just leave this and press next.
28. And finally windows will be installed by you and present some startup things.
29. Click next to continue.
30. You see two options ""Help protect my pc by turning on automatic updates" or ""Not right now""
31. Select any option as you want (It's not that important).
32. Now you see two more options about internet That's you are using dial up modem or you connect internet through LAN.
33. Choose any option.
34. And again you see two more options about activating your windows.
35. Choose any options. And click next.
36. And now on this step you can users as you want but is the limit of 5.
37. You get a thanks from Microsoft however it's your field.
38. Click finish.
39. Now start your computer and login to your windows at first time that means your window will be installed.
